The Raga Ahiri has a Myth attached to it...

It is that the person who sings The ragam in the morning will not get Food Till day-break 

But a Great Musicians remarked

"Sapadu kedaikathu nu illa-antha ragam padina Pasi theriyadu "

That is to say

"It is not that you wil not get food but the fact is that you will not feel hungry immersed in the raga"
